Alpacas of Cripple Creek is a small ranch that epitomizes the wonderful world of alpaca. These gentle, easy to raise animals are originally from high in the Andes of Peru and Chile. They are bred for their awesome fiber from which garments of extraordinary fineness are created.

We are located in the rolling, oak-studded hills of the Paso Robles wine country. As growers and producers of Olio Nuevo, an award winning, artisan crafted extra virgin olive oil, our ranch features an orchard of 3,700 olive trees (www.olionuevo.com). We grow our olives and produce our olive oils the same way we breed and raise our alpaca – with a passion for excellence and emphasis on sustainability. We call this “living in style with olives and alpaca.”

 

Our home and ranch have been featured in a number of publications for its beautiful setting and serenity. Ranch visits are always welcome to see and learn about alpaca as well as tour the olive orchard and facilities. A small boutique of high-fashion alpaca products is also available.
